TIMID Hawthorn is one of three kittens in need of a loving home after being rescued by an RSPCA inspector.
The eight-month-old male was taken in to the Brent Knoll animal centre earlier this year after being rescued with six other kittens.
Now, staff at the rescue centre in Brent Road are looking for owners to adopt Hawthorn alongside two other kittens who were rescued from the same property – two females named Jasmine and Heather.
A spokesman for the centre said: “The kittens’ owner had previously been prosecuted by the RSPCA and was now in breach of a ban (on keeping animals). This resulted in an instant custodial sentence.
“All of these adorable kittens were in a terrible state and were exhibiting flu symptoms. They had gungy eyes, were sneezing and were very underweight.”
