A young mini-moto rider is raising funds to attend a once-in-a-lifetime event after a rampant first season in the saddle.
Ollie Walker, aged seven, has been competing in his first FAB-Racing mini-moto rookie championship. He leads the points table by 79 points with two rounds to go and could soon be crowned British champion.
Ollie, who is sponsored by Pro Scaffolding, has come first eight times and earned podium trophies in every race since round two and is well supported by his father Rhys.
His performances have led to an invitation to the Silverstone race track to ride among professional Moto GP competitors, but he needs to raise £350 to cover the costs of the trip.
His mother Karla said: “We are really proud of what Ollie has achieved. He loves motorbikes and it’s his dream to ride in the Moto GP one day.”
