A SOMERSET youth project has been handed more than £5,000 in funding to help it deliver events across the area for at least the next year.
A report from Burnham and Highbridge Town Council routlined the £4,710 Burnham & Highbridge Youth Council received in grants from Somerset Youth and Community Service after its application was successful.
An extra £500 will also be handed to the youth project by the town council.
The report said the money will ‘enable the youth council to meet for another year’.
