FIREFIGHTERS, Coastguard and RNLI members all attended Weston’s seafront last night (Sun) following reports of a woman stuck in the mud.
They were called to the beach near Marine Parade at about 11.45pm and among the equipment deployed was the Avon Fire and Rescue Service hovercraft.
However, when they arrived at the scene the woman had already been rescued by police.
