A KITE company paid tribute to the service men and women who lost their lives while serving our country.
Peter Powell Kites flew their Poppy Kites during a week of remembrance.
After appearances in Bristol and Cheltenham, the kites headed for Weston on Friday and Saturday (November 11 and 12).
Leading up to the weekend, they were flying off the Grand Pier in the town, supported by Visit Weston-Super-Mare on social media.
A spokesperson for Peter Powell Kites said: "During our week of remembrance, we met some amazing people and the feedback was incredible.
"The Poppy Kites grabbed people’s attention as they stopped, watched and reflected on the fallen whilst watching the Poppy Kites in action.
"As we reflect on the past week, we would like to say one more thanks to the service men and women that have lost their lives whilst serving and to those that still serve or great country. We flew our Poppy Kites in your honour."
