FOOTBALL Fun Factory, which runs football training programmes for children, has announced it will be launching free sessions in Weston-super-Mare and the Bridgwater area.

There will be 'Tots Football Fun' sessions for children aged 2-5, and then for children aged 5-12 there are interactive games, exercises and activities.

With the NHS estimating that children need around 60 minutes of moderate or vigorous activity a day across the span of a week, these football sessions are the perfect way to teach children about the importance of exercise.

The 3-week trial sessions will be delivered by head coach, Piers Govier. He is excited for the sessions to get underway: “It’s really nice to be able to make a difference in my community and watch children have fun doing the thing they love, playing football.”
