A CAMPAIGN has been launched to encourage Weston's children to get active this 2023.
The Go Kids Go! scheme is launching again this week. Its main aim is to promote a healthy lifestyle to children and encourage them to get involved within their community clubs.
The programme is run by the Lions Club of Weston-super-Mare.
Over the last several years Go Kids Go! has awarded tens of thousands of pounds to local clubs to support them in provide a sporting, artistic or social outlet for children in the Weston area.
Over £7,000 was awarded to kids' clubs last year in Puxton Park.
Tim Lloyd, from Weston Lions, said: “It is wonderful to be launching another Go Kids Go campaign at a time where most, if not all, of the restrictions felt in recent years have been lifted and clubs can really move forward again."
