ARE you a fan of all things poetry?
Well, you're in luck.
Theatre Orchard is planning to host a online poetry evening called Speakeasy, led by Rob Walkton and Sue Hill of The Write Box.
On February 8th between 7.30 - 9pm, you can lose yourself in a night of poetry performed by open mic local poets, as well as award-winning guest poet Jonathan Edwards.
Johnathan's most famous poems include 'My Grandfather's Car' and 'Ghost Talking'.
Subjects such as family, community, history, culture and animals will be explored.
More information on Johnathan and his work can be found on the Theatre Orchard website.
The online event will be hosted via Zoom, although it is still recommended that you register your interest beforehand.
Even though the event is inclusive to most age groups, it is recommended that under 14's don't attend, since there could be some adult themes being discussed and explored.
