THIS evening, a charity event is being held at The Bristol House to raise vital funds to help survivors of the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
The event is due to start at 7pm.
There will be a range of fundraising activities. Some gentlemen have bravely volunteered to have their heads shaved, while others will be taking part in a quiz.
For those with a sweet tooth, there will be a chance to guess how many sweets are in a sack, as well as enjoy traditional parlour games such as Name the Teddy.
Darts, a speedpool and more will be on offer.
Local businesses have been encouraged to take part. Many of them have been kind enough to donate prizes for a raffle.
A one-night stay at The Royal Grosvenor Hotel is just one of the prizes up for grabs.
