THE Friends Of The Playhouse held their popular Saturday coffee mornings from 10 am on March 4 at the theatre in the High Street Hot Drinks and Biscuits on sale.

A spokesperson said : "The coffee mornings are open to members and non members so if do are passing the theatre on a Saturday morning please feel to drop in you will be made most welcome."

On Saturday March 4, the the monthly raffle event to win 2 tickets to a show of your choice (to be taken within 3 months )plus other lovely prizes was held.

On Saturday March 18, there will be the monthly General Knowledge quiz The quiz costs £1 per person to take part and is another of our fundraising initiatives

Please note :"You are not obliged to take part so just come along and listen oif you want."

On Tuesday, May 16 at 2pm BBC Radio Bristol Breakfast Presenter James Hanson will give a fascinating talk entitled" Tales From The Radio.

A spokesperson added :"Tickets are now on sale for the talk by James is a very popular presenter and we are very lucky that he has found time to come to The Playhouse to talk to The Friends Of The Playhouse."

The event will be held in the upstairs bar so seating is limited Tickets are £6 for Members and £7 for non members to include tea and cake.They are available by calling in to the Saturday Coffee Morning or by emailing playhousefriendswsm@gmail.com
