(ICS) is all set to welcome job seekers and people looking to change their careers at the Health and Care Support Worker Event.

The event also comes with an opportunity to leave with a conditional job offer the same day.

The roles available on the day include healthcare assistants, nursing assistants, theatre support workers, maternity support workers and more.

These roles provide an essential part of the health and care workforce, supporting the delivery of the highest standard of care to local people.

ICS organisations such as Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, North Bristol NHS Trust, University Hospitals Bristol and Weston Foundation Trust and Sirona care & health, including organisations within social and primary care sectors, will be available to talk to attendees about health and care support worker roles and the opportunities available.

Weston College, The Princes Trust and Brandon Trust will also be on hand to provide learning and development advice for people who want to get started with their health and care career.

Julie Bacon, Interim Chief People Officer at the BNSSG ICB, said “This is such a great opportunity to meet with a wide range of local health and care employers that have roles waiting to be filled. The recruitment event will see eligible candidates walk away with the prospect of a new job the very same day.

“A career in health and care is so rewarding, with the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the people you support.

“We would like to meet anyone who is considering a career in health and care, or anyone who has had a break from their career and looking to get back into another role.”

The Health and Care Support Worker Recruitment Event will be held at The Bristol Pavilion, Gloucestershire County Cricket Club in Bristol, Thursday 16 March 2023, 12 to 7pm.

The event is free to attend. More information and registration can be found here: https://bnssghealthiertogether.org.uk/events/ics-healthcare-support-worker-recruitment-event/
