WESTON Museum is expected to host a queer inspired art exhibition in honour of Pride in Weston.

Open to the public between June 18 and July 3, local artists will showcase their work to the public, who can enjoy the exhibition for free.

Jules Willis, a local artist and the owner of C & J's Little Shop of Allsorts, curated the event to highlight the creativity and talent of LGBTQ+ artists.

Residents will have the chance to meet the artists and the Pride in Weston team on June 28 for a special evening dedicated to queer creativity. The event will be running from 7pm.

Some local artists whose work is taking part in the exhibition includes:

  • Marta Hutt (Lush Eclectic)
  • Ruth Baker Art (Pyrography)
