THE RNLI have rescued a stranded catamaran in Weston Bay.
Crews were called out to assist the sailing vessel on Monday, April 24 2023, at around 8.39pm.
On the RNLI's Facebook page, a spokesperson said: "Milford Haven HM Coastguard Control centre were contacted by the owner of a catamaran sailing vessel in Weston Bay requesting assistance due to issues with their engine as they were returning to their mooring in the Uphill River.
"The yacht was in the narrow entrance of the river and with no power or ability to self-manoeuvre they dropped their anchor to prevent running aground and waited for the arrival of RNLI assistance.
"Both lifeboats made their way across Weston Bay, located the casualty vessel, and then assisted in towing the vessel further into the river before helping to secure her to the yacht club mooring.
"Having made the boat and its crew safe, the lifeboats returned to their station."
