NEW data from House Buy Fast has revealed that Weston has the highest number of people interested in buying or selling property.
The data was collected by analysing the locations of people searching Google for mortgage deals over the past seven days. Property prices in the town have risen by 3% in the past year.
Jonathan Rolande, founder of House Buy Fast, said: "Right now securing a mortgage or switching to a better deal is occupying the minds of rising numbers of people. Coastal locations coming out on top underlines the continued interest in these parts of the country.
“Since the pandemic, demand for properties by the sea has sky-rocketed, not least because of the appeal to turn them into holiday lets.”
Other areas which made the top five include:
- Rayleigh in Essex.
- Shirley in south London.
- Pinner in north-west London.
- Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire.
