RESIDENTS have been mulling over times gone by in the We Grew Up In Weston-super-Mare Facebook group.

Here are some of the highlights from the last few weeks.

Reflecting further on the differences between schools then and now, one resident said: "Not a mobile phone in sight."

Some residents look back fondly at their time living and working in Weston. One commenter said: "Does anyone remember a hotel called Chairman’s Choice? I was a chambermaid/breakfast girl there when I was 16. It was like faulty towers."

Recently joined members of the social media group are excited to share their experiences of the town, with one local saying: "Thank you for letting me join, looking forward to seeing memories."
