WESTON residents have taken a trip down memory lane in the We Grew Up In Weston-super-Mare Facebook page.

Commenting on The Grand Pier photo, one person said: "I don't know about you, but when the pier caught fire I cried and cried.
"It was like losing a piece of my family's memories.
"The new pier is not a patch on the old one."
Editor of the newspaper, Tim Lethaby, reminds people of the rules of the group: "This group is for anyone who wants to share their old pictures and memories of Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas.
