STUDENTS from Priory Community School Academy have received some superb GCSE results today (Thursday, August 24, 2023).
Among the students excelling were Samuil Vasilev who will be among the best performers in the country with 10 grade 9s and one grade 8.
His grade 8 was in the optional extra course of Further Mathematics which capped off an extraordinary raft of the top grades.
Samuil now plans to study to become a doctor in the future.
The second top performer was Divine Agho who achieved eight grade 8s and three grade 9s.
Principal Angelos Markoutsas said: “The pandemic has made things incredibly tough in so many ways for these students and we all are incredibly proud at what they have achieved. They should be very proud of themselves.
“It was wonderful to see so many smiles - they have excelled. Well done for all their hard work and determination to succeed.”
Director of Secondary Education at the Priory Learning Trust, Gregg Morrison, added: “Our whole family of TPLT schools want to say a massive well done to all of the students, and their families."
