SOME roads and paths will be closed over the next week in preparation for the much-anticipated Weston Beach Race.

The UK's biggest offroad motorsport event, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, will take place along the town's beautiful seafront on September 22 until September 24.

Attendees will be able to see riders take on the mammoth circuit, which is around six miles long, with the famous 2km start which creates a buzz as you see and hear the roar of bikes, quads and sidecars go down the straight.
