POLICE have taken action after staff and parents at a primary school in the Weston area complained about inconsiderate parking around drop off time.
Officers from the Weston-super-Mare and Worle Neighbourhood Policing attended Ashcombe Primary School earlier to "manage parking issues".
And the two PCSOs slapped a parking ticket on one vehicle that was "completely blocking the pavement".
A spokesperson for the neighbourhood policing team took to Facebook to say: "Following request from staff and parents, PCSOs Mike and Beata from Worle Villages Neighbourhood team have been to Ashcombe Primary School to manage the parking issues around school drop off time.
"We've had to issue a ticket to one vehicle which was completely blocking the pavement.
"Please park safely, responsibly and legally when dropping off or picking up at school times."
