WESTON residents have been remembering the good old times in the We Grew Up In Weston-super-Mare Facebook group.

Here are some of the highlights from the last few weeks.

Another commenter said: "In all the years it was there and I went on it, to this day I still have no idea what it looked like inside. (Image: Joe Jones/We Grew Up In Weston-super-Mare)The pool at The Tropicana is also missed by many. One local said: "I was not so much The Tropicana generation, but I do remember the previous open pool with the high diving boards. I remember going there for the first time, and the novelty of a pool you walked into like the sea, way ahead of its time."

Another added: "One of the saddest things that happened to Weston was losing that."
