A ROAD in Weston is due to close from next week for 17 nights.
New Bristol Road will be closed to the public from 8pm to 6am every night from Monday, October 17. This is to allow for carriageway resurfacing and general maintenance works.
Please note that the closure won't be enforced during weekends.
Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from the North Somerset Travel and Roads team highlights some important dates: "16/10/2023 – 20/10/2023: Closure from the roundabout by the Summer House Pub near the junction of Worle High Street and a section of Worle High Street.
"23/10/2023 - 01/11/2023: Closure near the junction of Worle High Street to the junction of Station Road.
"31/10/2023 – 02/11/2023 – Closure across all sites, for drainage works.
"02/11/2023: Closure outside of Worle Community School, for carriageway patching works
"03/11/2023 – 06/11/2023 – Closure across all sites, for reinstallation of road markings and traffic signal maintenance.
