A MUCH-LOVED Indian takeaway in Burnham-on-Sea has been officially named as the best takeaway in all of Somerset.
Saagar, located on Abingdon Street, won the prestigious title at the English Business Awards.
As a result of this huge success for the Burnham business, it will now be in contention to win the title of England's best takeaway at the national awards ceremony this November.
Votes for Saagar can be placed on the English Business Awards website.
The Saagar team were incredibly humbled and gracious in acceptance of the award.
A spokesperon said: "With your amazing support, love and loyalty we have gone and done it!!!
"We are officially the best takeaway in Somerset.
"It’s an amazing achievement, thanks to all of our hard working staff and chefs who has to take the compliments for this achievement.
"We would like to thank each and everyone for your support throughout the year."
