CHRISTMAS is arriving early at Weston's Emmanuel Church.

On Saturday, November 25, residents are invited to the Oxford Street church's Christmas Bazaar. The event will run in the church hall from 10.30am until 2pm.

Attendees will be able to browse a variety of stalls. Homemade cakes and other delicious treats will be on offer.

Lunches will be served from 12pm.

A spokesperson from the church said: "All are most welcome to our Christmas Bazaar."

The event is free and is open to everyone, whether you attend the church regularly or not.

The event will also act as the perfect opportunity for people to mingle and socialise either with friends from the church or new people.

The church was built in 1847 as one of the first in the coastal town and was dedicated to supporting the poor.
