THE Grand Pier has confirmed that its much-anticipated Fireworks at Sea event will be taking place in February 2024.
The display was due to take place earlier this month, on Friday, November 3.
However, it was postponed due to concerns about unsettled weather conditions and Storm Ciarán.
The decision was made by a third-party company who are responsible for putting on the display.
Nevertheless, residents can expect to be dazzled on Saturday, February 17. Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from the pier said: "We are pleased to confirm out famous Fireworks at Sea event will take place on Saturday 17th February.
"Further details to follow!"
Those who purchased Standard or Gold tickets will have their bookings automatically transferred to the rescheduled date.
If they haven't already been contacted, Platinum and Ruby ticket holders will receive direct communication from the events team to organise rebooking.
