A local care provider has won big at a national awards ceremony.
On November 3, Surrounding Support scooped the award for the Best Community-based organisation of the year.
The ceremony took place at Ashton Gate and saw nominations from parents, carers and service users propel them to the final four contenders.
Sophie Mager established Surrounding Support in 2017.
She was motivated by growing up with her brother who has additional needs.
Ms Mager designed a service aiming to aid the end users in achieving their goals and aspirations without any hindrance.
The aim is to grant users as much choice and control over the assistance they receive.
The tailored service is committed to helping people become active, involved, and contributing members of North Somerset.
