A Weston nursery has been awarded a 'Good' rating following its first Ofsted inspection.
Little Adventures Nursery, located on Charlton Road in Weston-Super-Mare, has been celebrating a hat trick of accolades recently.
Not only its inaugural Ofsted assessment, but also a five-star food hygiene rating, and a place in the top 20 South-West Nurseries based on parent reviews on daynurseries.co.uk.
The Ofsted report emphasised: "The curriculum is ambitious, supporting children's interests and next steps in learning successfully.
It also commented that "children thrive in nurturing relationships" and applauded the Little Adventures management for their effective communication with parents.
The nursery has also been recognised for a comprehensive child safety system, with the report detailing thorough risk assessments and the staff's good understanding of safeguarding indicators.
The nursery, situated close to the beach and running a unique beach school, is delighted with the outcome.
Tom Filer, Little Adventures Nursery’s managing director, expressed his delight: "We are absolutely delighted by this Ofsted report and how it reflects the nurturing, safe, and outstanding environment our nursery creates for children to learn, grow, and thrive.
"We have recently launched a new ambitious curriculum which received specific praise from the Ofsted inspector so we are excited to embed this further into our setting".
Only one month earlier, the Little Adventures Nurseries Group celebrated another great achievement.
The group, which currently runs six settings, was named Large Business of the Year at the Sedgemoor Business Awards and received a Highly Commended nod for Business Development at the prestigious National Nursery NMT Awards in London.
