Weston's Micro Artistry wins title of Hair Loss Clinic of the Year

Micro Artistry, a hair loss clinic on Oldmixon Crescent, is owned by Scalp Micropigmentation artist Chloe Heyworth. Chloe found out her business had won on December 1, when the results were announced.

Speaking about what her business entails, Chloe said: "Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a specialist hair tattooing technique that works by replicating missing hair follicles to conceal bald spots and create the appearance of full hair density.

"Results are instant, long-lasting, and low maintenance. There is very little downtime as the treatment is minimally-invasive and non-surgical. SMP is suitable for most types of hair loss, and is an excellent solution for men and women who are not eligible for hair transplant surgery.

"I recently became one of the few SMP Artists to be listed as an Affiliate Scalp Micropigmentation Practitioner Member of the British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (BAHRS).

"My clinic also offers another hair loss treatment called Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy which uses your body's own plasma to encourage the growth of dormant or shrinking hair follicles, as well as slowing or even stopping further hair loss.

"This treatment is administered by a registered nurse whose name is also Chloe. My clinic has just celebrated its 2nd year anniversary, so it is a huge honour and achievement to win this award."
