THREE new bus services will be introduced to North Somerset in the New Year.

The new First West of England services will come into force from January 2.

Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from First West of England said: "9 Weston-super-Mare - Worlebury - Worle - West Wick: New service running during the off-peak on weekdays, linking many areas to local facilities.

"126 Weston-super-Mare - Axbridge - Cheddar – Wells: New service following a tendering process by Somerset Council and North Somerset Council, replacing service 10 (last day of service December 29).

"127 Wrington - Churchill Academy: New school service between Wrington and Churchill Academy via Langford.

"From January 7, service 7 (Weston) will now operate every 30 minutes (currently hourly) on Sundays.

"To improve punctuality, services X1, X4, X6/X7 & X8/X9 will have revised timetables. Services Y6 & 70 will have minor changes to timetables & routes."
