Winscombe RFC and Axbridge Saxons Junior Football Club have been successful in the local community fund for the Co-op in the two villages, writes Alan Cooper.

Both clubs are hugely supported and attended by a large population of the local villages and need support to help raise money for their clubs.

Without support like this, the two clubs would struggle and other than shopping at the local Co-op.

All members need to do is to download the app and select the team of their choice as their local cause while non members are encouraged to sign up and swipe their card each time they shop.

For every £1 spent, customers will earn 2p for themselves and 2p for their local community fund.

Winscombe RFC, which started in 1962, have many teams right from under-sixes to under-11s mixed, under-12s, under-13s, under-14s, under-15s, under-16s Colts for boys and under-12s, under-14s, under-16s, and under-18s for girls.
