A CAMPAIGN group which is seeking to install more defibrillators in Weston is helping to run numerous CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and defibrillator training sessions in 2024.
On February 14 and 16 2024, Great Western Heart Starters will run the life-saving training sessions for staff at venues that have brought defibrillators.
This will be supported by members from the Donate For Defib campaign group. The campaign is being spearheaded by the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity, which saves lives day in, day out.
The sessions will take place at the Weston-super-Mare Social Club on Devonshire Road.
Those interested in attending the training should fill out the Google Form here: https://forms.gle/vtHR3hd8QkvpqhZH7.
Alternative training sessions will be run for staff from other venues who are not able to attend these dates. Each session will run for around an hour.
Sessions are limited to 30 people per session.
