THE mayor of Weston is urging sports clubs, gyms and businesses to help him train for his marathon challenge.
Cllr Ciaran Cronnelly will tackle the charity marathon on March 2, 2024.
All proceeds raised will be donated to Weston Foodbank, which provides vital support for those struggling to feed themselves and their loved ones.

Cllr Cronnelly said: "I'm a few weeks away from my marathon challenge on March 2 for WsM Foodbank.
"If you're a sports clubs, school, gym or business and want to help me get fit, set me a challenge or take me through my paces then do get in touch with my office - rebecca.saunders@wsm-tc.gov.uk.
"You might have a training session I can attend, or perhaps you've got loads of stairs to run up or your team are doing a sporty fundraising challenge - do get in touch and we can showcase your work, help me get ready but also help raise money for WsM Foodbank."
