A WESTON fish and chip shop has been awarded with an "impeccable" five-star food hygiene rating.
Kingfishers Fish & Chips can be found on Winterstoke Road.
The business, which prides itself on its high quality produce, was inspected on December 5, 2023.
Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from Kingfishers Fish & Chips said: "To start the year right...we're proud to announce our impeccable five-star food hygiene rating, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in every delightful dish.
"Big thank you to all staff in ensuring food hygiene is prioritised and high standard.
"Trust in quality here with us at Kingfisher!"
A North Somerset Council spokesperson said: "We visited Kingfishers Fish & Chips for a routine food safety inspection on December 5.
"The premise achieved a ‘five’ rating meaning food hygiene standards were found to be ‘very good’. Congratulations to them for achieving a ‘high five’!”
