THIS weekend, Bulldog owners will join together for the first Bully Meet-up & Beach Walk of 2024.
The event, by Geordie Bullies Springboard Rescue UK, will take place on Saturday, January 13, from 10.30am on Weston Beach.
The event's description on Facebook reads: "We hope you can join us for the first Bully Meet-Up & Beach Walk on Weston Beach in Weston-super-Mare of 2024.
"Wanda & Shelly Ann will be ready to meet and greet you from 10.30am outside Cove West Beach Shop.
"Your hosts will be rattling a collection tin so please bring some change with you to help support our GBSR babies, any donation, big or small is very gratefully received.
"All are very welcome but if you have an anxious dog, please let one of our volunteers know and they will provide you with a ribbon that must be attached to the dogs lead so its visible to other dog owners.
"If you have a 'dog reactive' dog then this is probably not the right walk for you.
"Please be aware we cannot tolerate any aggression from a dog to humans or to another dog.
"We would love it if you could join us with your beautiful furbabies for what will be a great beach walk."
