PEOPLE in Worle have helped create a list of the places where they are concerned for their safety.

Police have increased patrols in the areas and have pledged officers will be more visible there.

Concerns have been expressed via the Street Safe app of a number of concerns ranging from poor lighting to incidents of anti-social behaviour (ASB).

PC Ben Whitby been checking out a number of area, helping give reassurance to locals.

Those areas include the public walkway at B&Q leading to Charlock Close, Clover Court, Maltlands Park and Summer Lane Ponds

A spokesperson for North Somerset Neighbourhood Policing said: "Officers from the Worle and Villages Neighbourhood Policing Team have been reviewing the data from the Street Safe app.

"Locations of concern have been raised for a number of reasons from poor lighting to ASB.

"PC Whitby has been out patrolling the areas of the public walkway at B&Q leading to Charlock Close, Clover Court, Maltlands Park and Summer Lane Ponds.

"These areas will remain as part of our patrol plan moving forward and you can expect to see us at these locations."
