A DOCTOR Who companion will be meeting fans at this year's Stars of Time Comic Con.
Wendy Padbury will be attending the event on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the Winter Gardens.
A spokesperson from the Stars of Time team said: "Wendy originally joined the cast of the popular soap Crossroads, having come second in the TV talent contest, Search For A Star and in 1968 she joined Doctor Who as Zoe Heriot, companion to the Second Doctor.
"This is remembered as one of the best teams in the show's history alongside Patrick Troughton and Frazer Hines.
"After leaving the show, she appeared in the 1974 stage show, Doctor Who and the Daleks in the Seven Keys to Doomsday, playing companion Jenny.
"She briefly returned to the role of Zoe for The Five Doctors and on many occasions for Big Finish. Wendy returned to the role of Zoe again last year, appearing alongside Frazer Hines in Tales of the TARDIS."
