HUNDREDS attended an interactive children's wellbeing event at Weston Fire Station over the weekend.
The event, which took place on Sunday, February 11, brought together Avon Fire and Rescue Service's firefighters as well as experts in children's mental health and the mayor of Weston, to name a few of the representatives in attendance.
Youth intervention lead, Emily Cook, said: “It was an honour to welcome so many children and their families to our event on Sunday, and what a wonderful event it was.
“Attendees enjoyed the many activities laid on for them, and our community partners took the opportunity to engage with families and each other.
"I’d like to thank all those who came along, as well as all our of our partners that supported us with this event.”
Young people were encouraged to take part in educational activities to support their wellbeing. They also had the chance to meet Fido the firedog.
