THE owner of a Weston aesthetics and skin care clinic has said that “everyone is welcome.”

Located above Travelbillity in St Georges, Aesthetics By Erin opened its doors in 2022.

The clinic is run by part time midwife and registered aesthetic practitioner Erin, who also has over ten years of experience in the beauty industry as a fully qualified beautician.

Erin, who prides herself on offering friendly, personalised treatments, believes that customers are drawn to the business given her medical background.

As it stands, the aesthetic industry in the UK is not regulated, which means that aesthetic practitioners don’t have to undergo extensive training to carry out procedures – a highly risky business, especially when it comes to injectable treatments.

Erin told the Weston Mercury: “I am definitely an advocate for regulations.

“I have over four years of training with needles, there’s more trust because I have a medical background.”

Erin added that she understands that attending an aesthetics appointment can be daunting, so she tries to make everyone feel comfortable. Erin will welcome anyone for a free consultation.

She said: “I take my time with my clients, we aren’t a conveyor belt.

 “We don’t rush them.”

The company’s website explains further: “We’re proud of our private high-end facilities and specialist equipment, where you can relax knowing you’re in safe hands.

“During your consultation, I will listen to your goals and objectives to create a bespoke treatment plan. I have also had aesthetic treatments, so I understand how a slight ‘tweakment’ can have a huge impact on how you feel about yourself.”

Although the premises itself was originally one large room, the venue has been split into two smaller rooms, one of which is occupied by beautician Talia of TLK Beauty.

Matt, from the clinic, said that it’s possible that they may open a second premises in the future, but that nothing is set in stone as of yet.

To branch out, a skin event will be held on March 26 to showcase Erin’s work to potential clients. Erin will be carrying out a live treatment, whilst a Dermalogica representative will be doing free face mapping treatments to analyse your skin.

Whilst this event has now sold out there is a second event being planned, keep an eye out on the media pages and website for the launch of this in March.

Erin concluded: "Aesthetics by Erin is looking forward to welcoming any new clients, as well as as returning clients. Our doors are always open."
