POLICE are appealing for witnesses to identify a driver after a hit-and-run in Weston-super-Mare.

Officers are investigating a collision that took place on Friday, March 1 on Old Mill Way involving a blue Ford with green writing on its side that collided with a Ford Ka and failed to stop.

Avon and Somerset Police said no one was injured in the collision.

A spokesperson said: “Officers investigating a collision in Weston-super-Mare on Friday (March 1) are appealing for help to identify the driver of a car that failed to stop at the scene.

“The collision took place at approximately 10.40pm on Friday, March 1 on Old Mill Way, near its junction with Worle Moor Road.

“A blue Ford with green writing on its side collided with a Ford Ka and failed to stop at the scene. No one was injured in the collision.
