THE leader of North Somerset Council has confirmed that the Weston Bike Night will be returning to the Beach Lawns this year.
The charity event will take place from 6pm on Thursday, May 2.
Cllr Bell has worked with Cllr Solomon to ensure the event takes place at the Beach Lawns instead of the rugby club.
Cllr Bell said: "I am pleased to report that following some further discussions with the organisers, the Weston Bike Night will be returning to the Beach Lawns this year. The first Bike Night of 2024 will be on Thursday, May 2 at 6pm.
"I've been working closely with my colleague Councillor Mike Solomon to try to resolve this and I am glad we've got the right result.
"I had a lot of contact from residents, businesses and bikers about this issue. I promised to listen and take action if possible, and I am glad it has all worked out for the best."
