A recruitment firm based in Weston-super-Mare has announced the acquisition of a major agency in Cardiff, South Wales.

Abatec Recruitment has strengthened its position in the South West by acquiring St David Recruitment Services.

This strategic action expands Abatec's client reach and enhances its service offerings.

Owners of Abatec Recruitment, Richard Buchanan and Robert Dyer, expressed delight at the successful completion of the acquisition, which was advised by GS Verde Group.

Founded over 30 years ago, Abatec works with clients across the civil engineering, industrial, IT, and digital sectors.

With the addition of St David Recruitment, they have further broadened their portfolio.

Despite the acquisition, business will continue as usual, with co-founder Sally Hall remaining on board for the company’s next stage of growth.

The extended support, leadership, and infrastructure provided by Abatec will further enhance the business operation.
