The Friends of the Playhouse has announced its fundraising events to take place throughout May.
Regular Saturday Coffee Mornings, between 10am and 11.30am, continue to provide a space at The High Street Theatre for hot drinks and biscuits.
On Saturday, May 4, they will introduce its monthly raffle with a first prize of two tickets to a show at The Playhouse to be used within three months, amongst other prizes.
Proceeds will help support The Friends of the Playhouse's activities.
Another exciting event is set for Saturday, May 18, during the usual coffee morning service.
A new quiz, Do You Know Your Theatre hosted by former staff member Pete Magor, will engage visitors in theatre trivia for just £1 per participant.
Friends of the Playhouse, now boasting over 500 members, is also inviting those interested in joining to do so at the Playhouse Theatre box office over the counter or via telephone.
At a cost of £15 annually, benefits include 15 per cent off selected shows and confectionary bars, along with one free birthday ticket, regular social events and more.
