MOTOWN, rhythm and soul music fans are in for a treat next month.

Cadbury House, a four-star hotel in Congresbury, is hosting a night of soul on Friday, June 14.

One of the most sought-after cover artists in the UK, Richie Penrose, will perform classics that made stars such as Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder.

Richie will perform a range of popular songs such as Reach Out, When a Man Loves a Woman and Saturday Night at the Movies.

Tickets for the event, which includes a two-course meal, cost £45 per person.

Matilda Burgess, marketing manager at Cadbury House, said: “The sounds and music from Motown are some of the most recognisable known and guests will be able to immerse themselves in some absolute classics.

“Richie is on a UK tour and is a renowned soul performer so is something not to be missed.”
