A barber has described the "surreal" experience of giving the Mayor of Weston-super-Mare a haircut while filming an interview.
Kelsey Lawther, 27, recently launched a series of conversational videos with people from across the town.
His latest guest was Mayor Cllr Owen James, who spoke about his role and experiences in Weston during a trim at Lew's Barber Shack on Milton Road.

Mr Lawther said: "I only started creating this kind of content recently, so having the opportunity to sit down with the Mayor and do something a bit different felt pretty surreal.
"I thought it might make an interesting local story, particularly as the whole thing was filmed naturally in a working Weston barbershop."

The idea for the interview came after Mr Lawther contacted Cllr James to ask if he would take part.
He explained: "I wasn't really sure what to expect when I asked, so I was really happy when he agreed to do it.
"It was a bit surreal having the Mayor sat in my chair at first, but once we got talking it just felt like any other haircut and conversation.
"He was really easy to talk to and was up for answering everything I asked him, which made it a good experience."

During the interview, Cllr James spoke about his first few months as Mayor, his background as a teacher, and his hopes for Weston-super-Mare.
Mr Lawther, who has been a barber for more than five years, said the video project grew out of the conversations he regularly has with clients.
He added: "You end up having so many interesting conversations with people from all different walks of life.
"I wanted to start actually capturing some of those conversations rather than just making the usual haircut content."
"I like the idea of sitting down with different people, hearing their stories and seeing where I can take it."
Mr Lawther said he hopes to continue speaking to a range of people from across Weston as the series develops.
