Thousands of people travelling to one of Somerset's biggest annual events are being warned about a major motorway closure this weekend.
Weston Beach Race organisers have urged visitors to plan their journeys carefully as the M5 remains closed in both directions between junctions 11 and 12, including junction 11a.
The closure began at 11pm on Friday, October 16, and is due to remain in place until 6am on Monday, October 19.

In a travel notice, organisers advised motorists to follow official diversion signs rather than satnav instructions, allow extra time for journeys and plan ahead to avoid delays.
National Highways is carrying out the closure to demolish the Uphill Court and Grove Court footbridges over the motorway near Gloucester.

The agency said the bridges were closed earlier this year after their condition deteriorated and need to be removed before they become a hazard to motorway users.
Drivers travelling to Weston-super-Mare for the beach race are being warned that local diversion routes are likely to be busy throughout the closure.
National Highways has advised motorists to travel at quieter times where possible and drive considerately through local communities affected by diverted traffic.
The Weston Beach Race, which runs from October 16 to 18, attracts thousands of riders and spectators to Weston-super-Mare each year, transforming the beach into one of the country's biggest off-road motorsport events.
