£27m water works underway in Somerset

Work will begin on a 30km pipeline, which will provide water to hundreds of thousands of homes and businesses, today.
Bristol Water’s Southern Resilience Scheme is a £27million pipeline which will run all the way from Bristol Airport to Cheddar.
There will be traffic lights at the junction off the A371 and Cheddar Road and drivers are warned to plan extra time for their journeys for three weeks.
