Archant

A MINIBUS society celebrated 40 years as a registered charity by holding an anniversary cream tea.

Founded when Ray Millard and Ernest Harbottle joined forces to buy a minibus to resolve local transport problems, the Churchill and Langford Minibus Society has been sustained by unpaid volunteers since its inception.

With the family of Mr Harbottle, plus drivers, members and volunteers all present, the celebrations marked a historic day.

The chairman and committee passed on their thanks to everyone who works tirelessly to ensure the society continues to thrive.
