The Janes family has owned and ran the business in the Walrow Industrial Estate for 40 years, with second generation farmer Nathan alongside director Oliver keeping the business going.

Briarwood Products sell fibre cement roofing sheets as well as running a farm with a herd of 300 continental beef cattle.

The business celebrated its anniversary last month and Nathan describes the work ethic as eating, sleeping and breathing farming.

A spokesman for the farm said: “We honestly had no idea the company would grow on this scale and we still have customers return to us from 40 years ago when we first opened.

“The farm remains an integral part of our business as we plan to expand and develop.

“We’re looking forward to celebrating our next milestone anniversary.”
