Two people have been arrested after police raids which saw a huge quantity of cannabis and some class A drugs seized.
Police carried out raids in two Somerset villages and arrested two 54-year-old men.
Three warrants were carried out by Avon and Somerset Constabulary under the Misuse of Drugs Act in Cheddar and Wedmore on Wednesday.
Police have today (Monday) revealed they seized an estimated £95,000 of cannabis alongside a quantity of class A drugs.
The two men were arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs and have been released under investigation.
PC Tracey Jones from the neighbourhood policing team said: “This was a significant find of class A and B drugs which came as a direct result of an intelligence-led police operation.
“We will always act on information about the supply of illegal drugs in our local communities and would encourage people to call us if they have any suspicions or concerns.”
