CULT comedy star Bobby Ball will be pulling in the crowds at a Weston church when he performs a gospel show.In between Back from the Jungle comedy acts at Blackpool's Opera House, he will be travelling to Milton Baptist Church in Baytree Road to talk about his faith on October 7.The comedian, one half of the famous duo Cannon and Ball, will sing and chat his way through an evening which aims to give an insight into how Christianity has had a huge impact on his life.Reverend John Smith said: "Bobby will share his Christian stories and talk about how he became a Christian."I've only been here three months and it was the previous vicar who arranged the visit because Bobby is appearing at another church in Bristol earlier in the day we asked him to come here after."Bobby is coming alone and all he has asked for is a cup of tea and a room set aside for him."He will be speaking at the end of a church community open day which starts at 10am.There will be a range of fun activities including face and nail painting, an indoor bouncy castle, drama and music presentations and short films.Bobby will be on stage at 7.30pm at the free event.For more information ring the church office on 01934 641574.
