IF KEEPING track of your loved one’s birthdays, anniversaries and special events is difficult, image how hard it must be for this five generation family.

The Owen family starts with great-great grandmother Evelyn Owen, aged 92, of Earlham Grove, Weston, and leads on to her son Desmond, aged 64 and wife Maria, aged 63, of Sand Bay who are also great grandparents.

Following on the family tree is their 43-year-old daughter Tina Gould of Elborough Gardens, in Elborough near Hutton.

Nearing the last couple of generations is her son Tommy Owen, aged 24 and wife Jenna, aged 24, of Queens Road, Weston who have just welcomed the newest member of the family, their first son Logan.

Great-grandmother Maria said: “The dinner table is always over crowded.

“It’s a massive family and we are very close. We do all meet up quite often for events but it’s difficult sometimes because there is so many of us.

“And of course we all get together at Christmas and for birthdays but it’s very expensive. Every month there is a birthday so there is always a lot going on.

“I come from one of 10, but my husband comes from one of two so it’s more of a shock for him.”
